What we do
At least implicit consideration of responsible digital criteria on a case-by-case basis. Upstream of the project, we mention digital responsibility, what we will be implementing and why (kick-off meeting report including questions and answers to digital responsibility questions). Throughout the development process, we reiterate the main principles. At the end of the project, we issue a quality report listing all the criteria assessed, overall performance and compliance with the principles of responsible digital design. Depending on the project, these criteria are more or less numerous and advanced.
- Design
- attention to contrasts in design
- general page ergonomics
- digital sobriety
- accessibility of information (easy, intuitive workflow)
- Development
- attention to lightweight development for high-performance sites
- limiting the number of unnecessary requests
- Strategy
- take care not to propose or plan unnecessary functionalities (questioning needs)
What we could improve
- Refine the list of basic criteria to be met (increase the proportion of responsible digital design)
- Produce a Declaration of Responsible Design separate from the quality report, listing these criteria and making it possible to confirm that they have been met (scale of application? score? ticked box? proof?)
- Share this Responsible Design Statement on the project pages of the Spade portfolio
- Regularly publish information or experience sharing related to projects, our attempts to improve, etc.
- Improve our overall communication on our commitments in this area
