Featured image

How to add it?

In most types of WordPress content (by default Pages and Posts, but also Teams and Events), there is the option to add a featured image.

This option can be found in the content editing section of Pages, Events, and Articles (right-hand column).

We encourage you to take this into account in your daily work as an editor:

  1. Always associate a featured image with your content, especially when writing an article.
  2. Use an impactful visual so that it stands out in users' social media feeds.
  3. This is a good opportunity to establish your brand identity. For example, you could use images that are always framed in the same way, with a particular visual treatment (desaturation, filters, etc.), with a logo or short text overlay, illustrations, etc.

To add a featured image to your “Teams,” go to the right-hand column when you select > Teams > Add/Edit Article.

This window may be located at the bottom right of your space (rather than at the top right as shown in the image above). Don't panic, you can click on the arrows to move it up or down as you see fit.

Don't forget to use images to which you have added alternative text (only if your image is informative), for reasons of accessibility of your website!
