Scaleway is committed to the circular economy, which is why it works with local and regional partners such as Loxy, a special needs company that ensures 100% re-use and recycling of IT components. They also work to extend the lifecycle of our IT equipment in production by up to 10 years (generally between three and five years) through re-use and careful maintenance, and apply the European directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Rechargeable batteries are used instead of rechargeable batteries for all electronic equipment. Chargers and bins for recovering end-of-life components are available to employees. All electrical and electronic components are recovered and recycled by Swico.
Printer toner cartridges are recovered and recycled by specialist companies.
Bulky waste (scrap metal, glass, plastic, cardboard) is collected several times a year and taken to a recycling centre for reprocessing.
Each office has a waste bin and a waste paper basket for recycling.
