TABLE OF CONTENT

<aside>

Simple blocks (hero, editor, key figures, columns, image, form, text-image, video) can only be configured for a Block view, while advanced blocks (FAQs, Teams, Events & Articles) are available in Block, Single (or Page) and Listing (or Index) views.

Simple Minos blocks are generally static content blocks: whenever you want to use them, you must recreate the content. The exception is the form, which is a simple block (as it is only displayed as a block), but is dynamic in nature because once created, it can be called up in different places on the site.

All simple blocks

:minos_hero: Hero

A block for communicating via a large visual and a short tagline. It is generally used as an introduction at the top of a page.

:minos_editor: Editor

The Editor is a simple text block with all the typographical enhancement features: bulleted lists, bold, italics, heading levels, etc.

:minos_form: Form

A block for adding a form previously created via the specific plugin installed on your WordPress.

:minos_txtimg: Text-Image

A block displaying an image on one side and text on the other. It offers the option of alternating between right and left.

:minos_columns: Columns

A block for dividing content into separate columns.

:minos_fact: Facts & figures

This content module allows you to present key figures accompanied by a few words. These are valuable, high-impact data points that are visually highlighted to avoid writing long paragraphs.

:icon: Image

This block allows you to add a single large image to your page.

:minos_video: Video

This block allows you to add a single video to your page, which will play directly in the frame on the page.

Content creation

Below is a video showing the steps to follow to add a Hero block to a page.

  1. Click on the ‘Add a block’ button.
  2. Choose the type of block you want to use (in the example, we are using the ‘hero’ block).
  3. Click on the small pencil icon at the top right of the block you just added to your page
  4. Choose the title of your block and its level (H1 if there is no H1 on your page yet, and H2 if there is already one)
  5. Add your text (in the ‘hero’ block, this is an introduction)
  6. Add an image from your media library, then choose its position (left side, right side, watermark or centred). You can choose to upload your file if your image is not yet in your media library.
  7. You can add an action button. Don't forget to change the label (the text that appears on the button) if necessary, choose the style of the button according to its importance (here we have chosen a primary button because the action is important), as well as the URL to which the button links (this can be an internal page on your site, an internal section of that same page, or an external link).

Each simple block is used in this way, but many of them have parameter variations.

The visual aspects of the blocks (typography, button colours, title and text sizes, etc.) are determined during configuration in Minos (see next section).
